Renouncing Turkish Citizenship
- To the Ministry of Internal Affairs application
- Decision 6-12 months
- Right to Blue Card (most Turkish rights)
- Not exempt from military service (mandatory by law)
Military Service
- Turkish male citizen is obliged to do military service
- Deferral/paid if living abroad
- Citizen living abroad permanently over the age of 38 exemption
Tax
- Resident in Türkiye = all world income tax
- If living abroad, only income from Turkey
