Liability of the Carrier
- Liable from the moment it receives the cargo until it is delivered

- Character of the cargo (perishable)

- Inadequate packaging
- Special cases for animal transportation
Notification Periods
- Open damage: during delivery
- Hidden damage: 7 days in
- Delay: within 21 days

- Carrier liability insurance (CMR policy)

11. HD accepts that limited liability in the CMR contract can be exceeded in case of "grave fault or intent".
