This crime is prosecuted ex officio. No complaint is required.
Connection with Law No. 6284
In the case of TCK Article 232, the prosecutor's office may also request suspension within the scope of Law No. 6284. Additional protection is provided for women/child victims.
Approach of the Supreme Court
The Supreme Court adopts that "ill-treatment" must have "continuity" and "systematic nature", and that one-time events will be evaluated as insult or injury.
Compensation
The victim is against the perpetrator. He may file a lawsuit for pecuniary and moral damages.
