A refund lawsuit can be filed for unfair collections by banks.
Unfair Collections
- Account management fee
- Credit file fee
- Card fee (if not included in the contract)
- Early closure fee (exceeding the TKHK limit)
- Life insurance (mandatory) should not be)
Refund Process
- Written request to the bank
- If rejection, BRSA + consumer arbitration committee
- If insufficient, consumer court
Periods
- 10 years retroactive period may be requested
- Interest: from the date of collection

13. HD accepts that the account management fee can be charged if it is "clearly stipulated in the contract and reasonable" and that unilaterally imposed fees should be refunded.
