The debtor's crypto assets can be seized by enforcement, but there are technical difficulties.
Seizure Process
- Determination of wallet address
- If there is an account in the stock exchange, through the stock exchange
- Seizage letter to the stock exchange
- The stock exchange freezes the assets
Difficulties
- Personal wallet (cold wallet) cannot be seized
- Overseas exchanges are not cooperative
- Mixer/anonymous wallets
Exchange Liability
- CMB licensed exchanges must comply (KVHS)
- Overseas exchanges generally do not comply
- Even if there is a court decision

12. HD accepts that "tracing through the exchange" is currently possible in crypto seizures, but there are technical difficulties in personal wallets.
