TMK Article 174: The spouse who caused the divorce shall compensate the material and moral damage of the less or perfect spouse.

- Attack on personal rights
- Destruction of family life
- Social reputation
- Pain/sadness
Conditions
- The requesting spouse is at fault or less at fault
- The other spouse is more at fault
- If there is material damage or moral damage pain
Amounts
- Court's discretion
- Income/situation of the parties
- Gravity of the fault
- Generally between 5,000-100,000 TL (depending on the situation)
