Effective Regret (TCK Article 254)
- Spontaneous reporting before the crime is discovered: no penalty
- Reporting after investigation: discount
- Helping to catch other partners: additional discount
Difference from Extortion (TCK art. 250)
- Bribery: Mutual agreement
- Extortion: Inducing the person to give a bribe by the officer's force
Supreme Court 5. CD
5. CD accepts that in the crime of bribery, "mutual agreement" must be proven with concrete evidence, and that mere offer may not constitute a crime.
