Although the return of hardware and software products sold online is within the scope of the 14-day right of withdrawal, there are some exceptions.
Products with the Right of Withdrawal
- Phone, tablet, laptop (if the packaging is intact)
- Electronic products that have not been damaged
- Unused accessories
Except for the Right of Withdrawal (TKHK) Article 50)
- Goods prepared in line with the consumer's special requests (personalized)
- Goods that are not suitable for return in terms of hygiene/health (headphones, consumables)
- Digital contents (software downloaded, game activation code used)
- License activated software
License Activation
If the software box has been opened and the "license key has been used", returns will not be accepted. For this reason, sellers check for "not used".
Consumer Arbitration Committee / Court
If the seller rejects it unfairly, an application can be made to the Consumer Arbitration Committee / Court.
Supreme Court 13. HD
13. HD states that the right of return can be used if the licensed software is not activated, but the seller is authorized to activation control.
Consumer law attorney is recommended.
