Liabilities

Limitation of Liability
The public use provider is not directly responsible for content infringement by the user; However, in case of failure to comply with the obligation to keep logs, an administrative fine is imposed.
BTK Audit
BTK periodically inspects public use providers. For deficiencies:
- Administrative fine
- Activity suspension
- Registration cancellation
Supreme Court 4. HD
4. HD accepts that the collective WiFi provider is not a "location provider" and does not need to proactively monitor the content, but the provider who neglects its obligation to keep logs may be held responsible for the damages of third parties.
Individual WiFi
Home WiFi is not within this scope; However, the actions taken by the person who connects to the neighbor's unencrypted WiFi can be considered WiFi owner suspicious; It is recommended for home users to set a password.
