Insurance Arbitration Commission is an alternative dispute resolution method established to quickly and cost-effectively resolve disputes between policyholders and insurance companies. It is within the body of the Insurance Association of Turkey.
Application Requirement
- First written application to the insurance company
- No result within 15 days
- The subject is receivable/compensation
Limits
- The decision is binding under a certain upper limit (updated annually)
- Right to object above the upper limit.

- Arbitrator appointment
- Expert report
- Decision (usually within 4 months)
- Right to object (not available for those below the upper limit)
