Severance pay is in the amount of 30 days' wages for each year worked (1475 SK art.14).
Calculation
- Annual gross wage × year of seniority = severance pay
- "Gross wage" = final salary + social benefits
- Ceiling over 30 days: annual current
Ceiling Limit
- The maximum amount of severance paid to civil servants is the ceiling
- Annual current
- No payment for the excess part
Right in which cases?
- Termination by the employer without valid reason
- Termination by the employee for just cause
- Male military service (5 years required)
- Female marriage (1 year) in)

- Death of the worker
Unjustified circumstances
- Resignation by the worker without reason
- Termination by the employer for just cause (article 25)

9. HD adopts that "last gross wage with all social benefits" should be taken into account in the severance calculation.
